The Delaware County District Library has an opening for a full-time, 40-hour per week, Information Technology Associate (Maker Studio) at our Delaware & Liberty Branch Maker Studio locations. The primary duty of this position is to organize the Maker Studio and assist with the daily functions of the labs for groups and individual patrons. This position will provide customer service to assist patrons from initial project concept to final product, answer Maker Studio questions, teach technology, and operate equipment. This position requires the ability to work independently & with groups; additionally, this position must positively handle and adapt to changes.
This position will work mornings, days, evenings, and weekends; however, the schedule may change as the needs of the Library change. These positions will be required to travel between Library locations, be required to participate in and attend periodic events and training, and will be required to perform other duties, as assigned. The pay range for this non-exempt position is $19.97 - 29.95 per hour.
A High School diploma, or equivalency, is required; an Associate’s Degree or certification in relevant information technology is preferred. Basic computer skills and knowledge of computer equipment are required with digital/analog fabrication equipment preferred (i.e., laser cutters, 3D printers, sewing machines, graphic design, CAD software).
